Raphael Rogiński is a Polish guitarist, composer, improviser, and musicologist whose singular approach to the electric guitar draws together jazz, blues, Eastern European folk traditions, minimalism, and experimental music.
Known for his sparse, hypnotic fingerpicked style, Rogiński creates music that feels both ancient and entirely contemporary. His acclaimed Plays John Coltrane and Langston Hughes reimagines Coltrane through Rogiński’s distinctive musical language and has earned an international following, alongside performances at Unsound, Lincoln Center, and stages throughout Europe and beyond.
